Every release begins with a feeling.
Arthur Weprich, the producer behind ALIMA, has been making electronic music since 1998. What began with FastTracker, MIDI experiments and underground rave influences developed into a lifelong connection with electronic music.
The sound evolved through rave, techno, dance, progressive trance and uplifting trance. Today, ALIMA brings those influences together in a modern mainfloor sound created for both headphones and the dancefloor.
Every track starts with one central idea. It might be a melody, a memory, a moment of freedom or the energy of a late-night drive. From there, the production grows into a complete atmosphere with its own identity.
Following a long creative break, Arthur returned to music in 2022 and rebuilt the project around Logic Pro, modern production techniques and a more focused artistic vision. The result became ALIMA: a new identity connecting music, artwork, storytelling and independent promotion.
The full story—from the first tracker productions and the DJ Fantazy years to the current ALIMA chapter—is explored in the long-form artist feature “Why I’ve Been Producing Music Since 1998.”
