Hey, I’m ALIMA — an electronic music producer based in Gummersbach, Germany, originally born in Romania back in ’81.
My journey started in 1996, making beats on Windows 95 using basic MIDI tools. I explored a bunch of genres over the years — from Techno, Hardstyle, Hardcore, Jungle, to Drum’n’Bass — before locking into my true passion: Trance and Dance.
Most of my early work came to life using Fast-Tracker 2 and later Mad-Tracker 2. To level up the sound, I used software like Sony SoundForge Pro and a few others to add that extra polish and punch.
Over the years, I created tons of tracks (and yeah, a mountain of unfinished ideas too). I dropped three albums and a single — mostly released on platforms like myownmusic and SoundCloud. In 2010, I hit pause for personal reasons and stepped away from producing for a while.
But in 2022, I made my comeback — one last ride. I brought back some of my classic tracks and jumped into the world of social media: you’ll find me on Instagram, SoundCloud, and streaming platforms like Spotify.
These days I’m doing it all independently. I’m always down for collaborations, bookings, or any cool creative projects. Let’s connect:
