Horizon Line

Behind the remix

About
“Horizon Line”

“Horizon Line” is ALIMA’s uplifting trance reinterpretation of the established Dima Krasnik composition, released in two new versions through Redux 138.

The remix preserves the emotional and melodic identity of the original while rebuilding its energy around driving basslines, soaring synths and a modern 138 BPM mainfloor structure.

Remix DNA

01 — DRIVE

A stronger mainfloor foundation

Firm percussion and a driving bassline give the reinterpretation the physical momentum required for contemporary uplifting-trance sets.

02 — ASCENT

Soaring synths above the rhythm

Expanding melodic layers create a feeling of continuous elevation, carrying the listener beyond the visible horizon.

03 — EMOTION

Respecting the original identity

The production introduces a new ALIMA signature without losing the emotional character that made Dima Krasnik’s composition worth revisiting.

The remix approach

Looking beyond the existing version

Remixing an established trance composition requires a balance between recognition and transformation. Too little change would only repeat what already existed; too much would remove the identity that made the original meaningful.

The ALIMA interpretation keeps the melodic heart in focus while reshaping the rhythm, progression and scale. The result is familiar in emotion but rebuilt for a newer mainfloor environment.

Original to reinterpretation

A new chapter for a Dima Krasnik composition

“Horizon Line” existed as part of Dima Krasnik’s catalogue long before the ALIMA versions arrived. The composition had already appeared in its original form and through earlier remix interpretations.

The 2024 Redux 138 release introduced a new chapter: a focused ALIMA Remix for direct listening and a complete Extended Remix designed for longer DJ transitions and full club progression.

The visual world

Where the last light becomes the next destination

The horizon represents a boundary that can be seen but never completely reached. Every step toward it reveals another distance, another colour and another possible destination.

The remix follows the same principle. Each melodic rise appears to reveal the final peak, but the arrangement continues expanding until the complete mainfloor release comes into view.
